Levees
Flood Control District 9 is responsible for maintenance and operation of seven levees in Blaine County.
The Bible Camp Levee is a non federal levee located in west bank of the Big Wood River just north of Bellevue, Idaho. The levee is about 750ft long with an average width of 12 ft.
The Broadford Bridge levee is a non federal levee located on the east side of the Big Wood River North West of Bellevue, Idaho. The levee is 2400 ft long with an average width of 12ft.
The Deer Creek Levee is a non federal levee located on the East side of the Big Wood River just above the bridge on Deer Creek Road. The levee is 500 ft long with an average width of 8 ft.
The Gage Levee is a non federal levee located on the East side of the Big Wood River between Hailey and Bellevue Idaho. The levee is 2400 ft long with an average width of 12 ft.
The Meyers Levee is a non federal levee located on the East side of the Big Wood River just North of Glendale Road. The levee is 1600 ft long with an average width of 12 ft.
The Star Bridge Levee is a non federal levee located on the East side of the Big Wood River just south of the Friedman Memorial Airport.
The Zinc Spur Levee is a non federal levee located on the East side of the Big Wood River in the Zinc Spur neighborhood. The levee is 900 ft long with an average width of 10 ft.
